Fitting Guide

Finding the right fit for your nursing bra is essential for comfort and support during this special time. Follow these steps to determine your correct size:

  1. Measure Your Band Size:

    • Using a soft tape measure, wrap it snugly around your ribcage, just below your bust.

    • Make sure the tape measure is parallel to the ground and sits firmly but comfortably against your skin.

    • Round the measurement to the nearest whole number. This measurement is your band size.

  2. Measure Your Bust Size:

    • Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, making sure it passes over your nipples.

    • Keep the tape measure parallel to the ground and ensure it's not too tight or too loose.

    • Round the measurement to the nearest whole number. This measurement is your bust size.

  3. Calculate Your Cup Size:

    • Subtract your band size measurement from your bust size measurement.

    • Use the difference to determine your cup size based on the following chart:

Difference (in inches) | Cup Size

      0 | A 1 | B 2 | C 3 | D 4 | DD/E 5 | DDD/F 6 | G 7 | H 8 | I

  4. Try on Bras:

    • Once you have your band and cup size, try on bras in that size to assess the fit.

    • The band should fit snugly around your ribcage without digging in or riding up. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably under the band.

    • The cups should fully encase your breasts without any spillage or gaping. The center gore (the piece of fabric between the cups) should sit flat against your chest.

    • Adjust the shoulder straps as needed to ensure they provide support without digging into your shoulders.

  5. Check the Fit:

    • Move around, raise your arms, and bend over to ensure the bra stays in place and provides adequate support.

    • Look for any signs of discomfort, such as digging straps or underwire, and adjust accordingly.

  6. Reassess Regularly:

    • As your body changes during pregnancy and postpartum, your bra size may also change. Reassess your bra size regularly and invest in new bras as needed for optimal comfort and support.
